Just about to buy a Scirocco

Post by House »

Soo, been driving my 2001 GT TDI Golf for 10 years now, and its about time to treat myself to a newer car.

Been looking at the Scirocco for a while now, and have test driven a couple and loved them.

Just about to buy a 2010 2.0 TSI with DSG. Really nice car with a load of extras. Last minute nerves about splashing the cash. Shall I do it?!

Read the buyers guide on here and the information by Chris Gaskell... If all checks out buy it.

I was of the same ... I came from a 2002 SEAT Leon Cupra that I owned nearly 9yrs ... Decided it was time to treat myself and absolutely love my Scirocco ... I had the original Mk2 Scirocco and two VW Corrados in the past and I'm so chuffed to be back in another VW coupe despite the amount of money I've spent. I don't regret it at all.
VW Scirocco GT 170 in shadow blue metallic with vienna leather, cruise control, parking radar, nav, bluetooth and dynaudio sound system. Remapped and shortshift fitted.

Yeah dont think there is much of an argument for not buying one! Thanks all. As for the Buyers Guide, I can't find it on here, anyone got a link? :)

Love it, very good. Very slick, and easy when driving around town. Haven't put it into sports mode too much yet, but did last weekend and it was great fun. Although not really using the paddles yet. Enjoying it enough in full auto :hyper:
