Car net

Post by old n grey »

Hi, does any body have any knowledge on the VW car net system. My new roc's discover nav system can have it enabled by signing up on the VW site and entering a pin number to unlock it, its then free for three years on new cars. My concern is how much of my phones data allowance will car net use in day to day use, is it always using your data in the background? Any help on this would be great I don't fancy running up large phone bills for some gimmick I might not use.

Cheers.

Car net is a really new system for the roc mate. I hate to pass the buck... buy would it be best to look on the mk7 forum? Those guys have had it a little longer.

When you find out can you let us know, my dad has it in his passat but is yet to set it up. I love a gadget haha
