DS Door leak?
Hay people. The drivers side door on my scirocco has a slight leak in the front bottom corner where the wing mirror is. The leak doesn't let rain in, but will squeek when the car goes over 65mph and if you jet wash it a couple of droplets collect inside. As you can guess it's rather annoying, any suggestions what it could be? Only thing I can think of is a poorly fitted wing mirror or door. I'm going try to see how both are aligned today, but would appreciate other options.

Re: DS Door leak?
Figured out why but not a clue how to solve it. The DS door glass isn't pushing up high enough when closed. Can't get clear photos to show what I mean but it's this point on the window that isn't making a tight seal like the PS

PS I've just tried the window reset code and it didn't make it go any higher :/
- Switch the ignition ON. ( I tend to do it when required with the engine running to up the available voltage.)
- Drop the windows a little way on the controls, then wind up the windows with the controls all the way in one go.
- And without letting go of the switches, continue to hold the "Up" controls for a further couple of seconds.
- Then release the controls and wait a second.
- Select the window controls "Up" again and hold for about 3 to 5 seconds.
- The windows should now operate corrctly again and close on shutting the doors or pressing the keyfob to lock the Scirocco.

Re: DS Door leak?
Have you tried using silicon spray to lubricate the window slides and top rubber that the window slips into? Found that mine moved more freely after lube on the window slides. Worth a try?
