Whining noise in second gear

Whining noise in second gear

Hi,

i'm running 6pd manual.
When going along in 2nd gear at a constant speed or coasting to a stop there is quite a loud whining noise. Dont get this in 3rd.
Seems to be getting louder. Is this normal or known problem?

Haha no that noise happens in 3rd gear at 6000 rpm ;)

Try turning off your air con, my compressor was faulty and made whining noises that I could hear in 2nd but not in 3rd or above

Cheers but doesn't seem to be the ac.
