i have 2.0 GT and i have those plastic pedals... ain't exciting..
i almost ordered this... until i saw a post in here of people saying they are off a few mm or something...
http://www.theskodashop.co.uk/product/S ... _5L2064205" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
can someone help me find the right ones... the price for the above is also ideal.. if its going to cost me 100 or so then i may have to wait..

I just rang them and the guy said something similar to a previous post on the forum "other scirocco owners have purchased these" I'm still very cautious as to do they fit perfectly which he said it should do but he couldn't say for certain... The other he baffled me with which might be what someone on here has mentioned before but I can't find about "nott being right by mm" and that's the size of the pedal itself it might be shorter than our previous plastic ones.
Surely somebody here has done a pedal conversion...
I don't want to do the last resort and buy those cheap drill into ones!

1. they are the same size buddy.![]()
perfect fit.
2. you got two choices ring your local skoda dealer and ask for the part number which was (1Z2064205) *also mentioned in that thread.. it will come in next day for you to pick up... which is ideal and fast.... bare in mind they may ask you to pay them upfront.
or
what i did is order them from this site http://www.skodaparts.com/product/octav ... 2013-50529" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
which i regret a little cause it took 4 days due to the fact that i ordered them on friday last week..
but thats what you want for your
DSG automatic scirocco

Regarding removing the accelerator pedal: you can save yourself the 15-20 mins fiddling and avoid damaging with screw drivers by using the VW tool T10240

If you have a look at the underside of your new pedal. You can see how the clips work.
Then just use two screwdrivers only takes 30 seconds.
If you have the new pedal upside-down beside you then you can reference it and it should be easy.

Yeah I have this tool, you push it in and releases the pedal instantly.
I got it from here: http://www.shop4volkswagen.co.uk/produc ... ool_T10240
Currently £12.70 delivered.
As selleym says you can use screwdrivers to replicate what the tool does but it looks like you have to be very patient to avoid scuffing up the original.

I got the tool as I didn't want to damage the pedals. Worth the money imo. Makes it super easy to replace.
