Has anyone fitted the R smoke tail lights on their scirocco, I'm thinking of getting them and I want to be sure they fit,

Great, thanks Keal, do you think they're a much nicer look then the cherry red, I've a white scirocco so I think they'll look really good on a white car

Yeaa, Ive got a white rocco as well, i didn't like the redness of the standards, was way to bright but didn't want them tinting loads like you get from using like a tint spray or summart so the R lights were the perfect replacement for me

If applied by a professional, you won't even notice it has a tint film on it... ;)

Tint film/spray always looks tacky IMO.
And it's always pretty obvious looking

Last week, a friend of mine asked me to tell which one of the cars had a film on the headlights. I got it right. I was lucky. I couldn't find a difference. Then I touched it and yea, there is a difference. I kinda like to tint film it. It gets UV protection, no scratches on the headlight and bugs are very easy to remove. ;)

I prefer to go oem myself and they do look well, especially on a white car. I'm very happy with them, never like the cherry red lights. Image
I have attached a picture of the comparison, it's way more noticeable in reality though
