I have a saris bones 2 rack, carry's my mountain bike without problems.On the metal hooks of the carrier straps I have glued and covered in innertube offcuts to prevent scratching the paint work and the large rubber feet have got old socks on them to prevent marks to the paint work/glass. The saris bones is full adjustable and fits my mrs car also (hatchback). I'll upload some photo's next time I load the rack up unless someone beats me to it.
