Spoke to VW today and they said my car is built and at the docs in Portugal waiting to get loaded on a ship to Germany for checking. Then another ship to UK in about 3 weeks.

Sounds mad, why not just do the checks in Portugal?

Has yours arrived in the UK yet? Mine arrived at Emden today! Just have to wait for the ship to Sheerness now!

Yes it went to some docks up North on Friday and getting car transportered down this week. Should be at the dealers on Tue or Wed and get checked ready for Thur or Friday. My wheels are getting powder coated Wed/Thur so not a problem. Exciting eh :clap:

Brocky never got his in the end. Something to do with the finance . Cancelled the car. This was quite a while ago.

That's a shame. I think my reply was March to his Feb post. Is he still a Roc owner of given up on it?

Nope I believe he gave up. He really wanted that new roc and because something went wrong with the finance he didn't get the car. He hasn't been back on the forum since. Shame really. He bought a shed load of detailing gear and new led sidelight units all waiting for the car. Only for him not to get it. He had to sell all the stuff he bought.

Well bit surprised this morning to get text to say arrived in UK! Whereabouts it has arrived not quite sure! But pretty quick from Portugal!

I was told yesterday mine was at the docks in Kent and going on a transporter today, so maybe yours was on the same ship. :)

Hi no build week yet for my 184 R-line but I was wondering if anybody knows what build week the new infotainment system will be fitted from? my VW dealers not got a clue.

Hi, my dealer gave me a VW print out that says MY16 changes are effective from build week 22 (starting Monday 25 May).
2009 Candy White 2.0 tdi GT
2012 Rising Blue 2.0 tdi GT
2015 Ultraviolet 2.0 tdi R-Line
