Redlinit it in a 2.0 TSI

Post by shooms »

I've got near on 2k on the clock now & have been changing up at 5k max whilst bedding in (ample really as it pulls really well & easily whatever gear / rev so haven't been really ragging it)... anyway I decided to treat myself this weekend :D

Dropped from 6th to 4th at 80ish & pushed it up to 7kish revs... pulls like a mo-fo with a surge & a great noise :D

My previous car bounced off the limiter at 6.5 so was more than pleasantly surprised to see 7 :D

Does anyone know what the limiter peaks at ? And also the speeds at which you bounce off the limiter per gear ?

since my re-map i find its best to change ast around 6-6.5k rpm anything above that the car doesnt seem to be pulling as hard, I'll check my power graph to see where the power starts to fall off! :)
Car is now Sold!!!!! BMW 7 Series for now as nice and big but holding out for something a little special as my toy :)
