Boot bag

Post by Les Burum »

Anyone got any suggestions for a boot bag to put my bits & pieces in? The usual stuff, first aid kit, hi viz, triangle, de icer etc. I've got all the above from previous cars so I'm not wanting to buy VW specific stuff to fit in all the straps & brackets at extra cost. I'm looking for some thing to fit to the back of the seats or on the wheel arch bulkheads. Thanks.

I bought one of these:

Fairly thin carpet, but does the trick. Has velcro on the bottom and the back, so it stays very firmly in position. There's a larger size available.

Cheers I was also looking for something like this!
Any ideas what the hooks are for in the boot? Is it for a cargo net?

You can use them for whatever, they are luggage hooks. I use them for shopping bags sometimes so everything is one piece still after a spirited drive home! -;)

The plastic hooks on either side are for carrier bags and the metal ones in the floor are for the OEM cargo net or to secure items to.

like you hated things rattling around and found these - velcro on the bottom and back and sit in that right angle behind the seats. for me right one is a mobile mini-detailing kit, left is for dirty rags, gloves, t20/t15 torx screwdrivers, torch, hi-vis vest etc. couldn't live without them now.

cheap as chips on eBay these... can take a better pic if required.

Thanks everyone. Exactly the type of thing I was looking for. Always prefer to get a recommendation than to buy blind.
