Looking for a scirocco! Any advice ?
New to the forum and I'm looking for a used scirocco, the one I have in mind is a 2.0 tsi GT with DSG.
How is the DSG? I've only ever has manual cars before this but I'm keen on the idea.
I'm really after one with a leather interior as well, and what other optional extras should I look out for ?
Anything to check for whilst I'm buying ?

Buy one. Best decision I ever made!
Personally I love the DSG gearbox. Make sure you test drive a manual as well though to see which you prefer.

Good luck with your search

Looking for a scirocco! Any advice ?
Absolutely love it !
I'm so happy because my last car was a clio 200, I got it pretty cheap and only lost £150 when I traded it in after 2 years.
But I hated it to be honest haha ! Even though I tried so hard to like it but everything was jittery and awkward, not to mention the lack of class in the interior !
The scirocco is a completely different class altogether, so smooth and comfortable.
Feel like I've grown up a bit haha, when you compare to my last few cars!

Ha, the RS clios handling is amazing! I had a 172 and it's the only car I regret selling! But yes the interior is dull and very plain! Any plans for the Roc? I can't wait to get in one again!AxG wrote:Absolutely love it !

Re: Looking for a scirocco! Any advice ?
Handling was the only good thing about it I thought haha, missed a turbo and the flat spot and kangarooing was horrendous !
All of my previous cars have been pretty heavily modded.
I wasted a lot of money so I think I'm keeping it to a minimum with the Roc !
Well I say that anyway I'm still in the honeymoon period at the moment.
Black vw badges with the rest de badged.
Lowered about 30mm on springs and some nice alloys like wci cc10 or 3sdm 0.06.
Keeping it simple
you not have one currently then ?

It's only money you would have spent on other thingsAxG wrote:Handling was the only good thing about it I thought haha, missed a turbo and the flat spot and kangarooing was horrendous !

Nope, I had a 177 RLine but didn't gel so I got rid.. Looking for a Rocco R now! I have been for months! But the longer I wait the bigger the budget so it's just a case of not being impatient

The little changes make the biggest difference imo. Get some pics up [emoji14]
