Headlight Bulb Problem

Hi there , hope someone can help me , not to long ago I had HIDS fitted , during the time I had the HIDs in , the drivers side had stopped working , I didnt bother fixing this as I just removed the HID kit , All original bulbs are now back in , the problem I have is my drivers side bulb is now not working , so I changed the bulb but yet i still have not been able to find the problem , will this be a fuse or a matter i will have to take to VW

I had a similar issue a couple of months back. It turned out to be the bulb holder which ordered from VW for about £10. To confirm it, swap the bulb and holder to the other headlight and see if the fault transfers. This should answer it. When I took out my bulb holder out, it had a slight burn mark.

thanks for replying to this , I will try swapping them tomorrow and hope to god it solves the problem and i can just order a new holder . cheers for the help
