I have a RCD 510 with DAB in my Scirocco. I'm thinking about getting a RNS 510 soon so that I can have built in satnav and DVD playback, I have also seen that they can have tv if you add a tuner (I was offered a new RNS compatible tuner worth £260 for £50, so I took it).
My only concern is about the lack of DAB on these RNS 510's. I don't want to pay over £600 for one to have DAB, so I was wondering if a DAB plugin can be added at a later date to one which doesn't come with DAB? I have read somewhere that it is possible because the DAB pins are on the back of these devices, so theoretically it should be possible to add it later.
Does anybody know much about this?
