Unlocking Car Lights Timer

Post by AndyK »

Hey I'm pretty new to this forum. Bought a scirocco 1.4 tsi 160bhp about 3 weeks ago. Loving it so far, great car for my age, insurance is lowish (1.9k). It's a 10 plate, and was wondering if there was a way of changing the timer for the lights when unlocking the car in the dark. At the moment, they only stay on for 5 - 10 seconds. Wanted to change it to 20 seconds, have tried the settings on the dash, but couldn't find the settings for it. So I'm assuming that I can do this with vagcoms? Has anyone done this yet, and if so how did you do it

Many thanks
Andy

Hey man.

You can change it via the little screen at the steering wheel. I changed mine there to 30s.

If you have Highline you can change the times in the.convenience menu within settings on the MFD. If not, you can change the time using VCDS / Vagcom
