I feel like plasti dipping my wheels matte black over winter, what do people think?
Never managed to get them painted gloss black this year thanks to work messing me about.

My previous car was a white Seat Ibiza. One week after owning it i've dipped the wheels black (just like the Abarth before). After two years i took it of because i sold it. Very cheap way to get your wheels black and easy to remove. CardipUK now has high gloss dip
Going to dip my whole scirocco antracite and the wheels gloss black.

Cheers for the reply mate, I did see cardipuk stuff on eBay last night when I was looking. How ma y cans did you need to do your wheels? From what I can find on the net its anywhere from 2 to 4. At the rate I'd rather wait til next year & use that money towards a proper refurb, I'm basing that on around £15 per tin of plasti dip

On the abarth i used 1 can. But it faded after several months. On my Seat i used 2 cans. 1 can a side. It lasted for at least two years.
Or use performix plastidip (the american blue ones). Over here it is €11 a piece so €22 for some nice looking black wheels!
