MDI Cable and iPhone 6

Post by S8ndo »

Just upgraded to the iPhone 6 which has the Lightning connector instead of the 30 pin mdi connector that comes with the car. I know vw do the mdi to lightning connector but it's a rip off. Also my car doesn't have Bluetooth. What's the best way to get it connected and keep the steering controls working?

If you don't want to pay for the specific MDI to lighning cable, then I guess your only option is to use a lightning adaptor to interface between your old cable and new phone.
