I think my driveshaft i broken

Post by PetterDammen »

Hello fellow Scirocco owners!

I reacently installed airlift suspension on my Scirocco, and up untill yesterday it has worked fine.
When i was on my way home, a noise from the front right wheels, and the steeringwheel is "rocking" from side to side

This goes away when im accelrating, and in low speed

Does anyone have any idea?

Sounds more like the back inboard end of the wishbone. If the driveshaft was broken it would not drive just sit there spinning the broken shaft (depending on the type of diff fitted).

First thing I'd check is the track rod ends , and the lower arm - based on your description
