That's on my list to do but exhaust was at cost so could not choose tailpipe.whiteDevil_170 wrote:Looks good. But Personally I'm not a fan of the single exhaust exit.

Pictures as promised...Not sure the camera on my iPhone does the lights justice. VERY happy with the outcome!C00PS wrote:Installed these LED's in my reading domes..... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321375181750" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
First impressions are that they are a little too long, with the bottom SMD near the bottom of the dome. Just waiting for night fall to see what they really look like and will post pictures for peoples opinions.

Its the one with the MFSW that is the same as the MK6 golf rather than the standard MK5 Golf wheel and stuff like that. To be honest for the amount of time I want to keep it I'd want an 11/12 one anyway.Jase1 wrote:What's the later interior all about?Dave7692 wrote:Ideally I want the one with the later interior (2011 onwards), Steel grey or Metallic Blue 170TDI not too fussed on whether its leather or cloth interior providing its tidy. Also it needs to be under 35k miles and sold by a dealer. Only problem is the vast majority for sale seem to be white and there seems to be a lot more 140's about.

Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
I should be collecting mine this weekend. I was after the same as you, only I wanted an 11 plate on, Blue with leather. It's also got 19's and parking sensors. It'll be a 200 mile round trip to go and get it but hopefully it'll be worth it.Dave7692 wrote:Its the one with the MFSW that is the same as the MK6 golf rather than the standard MK5 Golf wheel and stuff like that. Finished off my rear bumper and gave it a good clean. Happy with the rear skirt just need to get the side skirts on now.
Pic of the front after I used some Autoglym black dye on the honeycomb grille. Looks much better darker.

Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
Had a trial fit of my VW roof bars and Mont Blanc roofbox , ahead of our forthcoming camping trip to France
I got the 'used once' Genuine VW roof bars off ebay for a song (£120 vs £340 from the stealer !) . I have to say they are fantastic quality - if a little fiddly to fit .
The roof box is a universal one , so i had to drill new holes to suit the mounting centers of the Rocco's roof bars. Once everything is tightened up , it all seems very solid and secure.
I'm well chuffed with the result
I also fitted a gloss black VW badge to the bonnet .
I got the badges off this guy on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191137143432? ... 1497.l2649 £9.99 for the front and £8.99 for the rear , shipping was free , but only took a week from Hong Kong

Nice work there Lee! The roof box gives that much more extra storage, together with the boot, and also saved some pennies getting it from good old eBay. Happy Camping mateuklee wrote:Had a trial fit of my VW roof bars and Mont Blanc roofbox , ahead of our forthcoming camping trip to France

I need to take the one in my car out! Can't follow the instructions most people on here post, don't know why. Might go searching for a visual guide. It's a struggle to hear my music on the motorway

Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
Was really easy on mine.
I used the instructions here:
http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/forum/ ... 82#p143258
No wd40 needed for me it just slid out, lifted one end slightly and ran my finger along slowly pulling it up.
Took 5 mins to take it all apart and put it all back together.
Just be careful not to use any excessive force as its all plastic! None is needed just some wiggling
Have a go its pretty easy once you have a good look at it.
If you get properly stuck ill see if i have time to take it apart again and take some pictures.
