Im going to look at a Roc with Brown Leather interior. It looks pretty good on pictures.

Got it in mine and think it sets off the car. As said so different to the normal black.

What colour is the car it's in? I'd probably say it's dependant on the exterior to if I'd like it.

In the same way you are unsure about buying it, so will a lot of potential buyers when it comes time for you to sell it. So be prepared for potentially a harder resale.
I disregarded all tan interiors when buying my rocco because:
1) I wasn't 100% sold on it and didn't want to risk the possibility of starting to dislike it and getting irritated by it a few months down the road.
2) Reminded me of my grandad's old motor.
My advice... If you have any doubts, then leave it.
On a day to day basis how you feel about the interior of a car is arguably more important than the exterior, as that's what you'll be seeing for 99% of the time when with your car.
Although saying that, I'd rather have a black Scirocco with a brown interior than a brown Scirocco with a black interior.

Re: Brown Leather Interior anyone?
Well screw you guys.. I bought it!
You had a good point Sincs (Im kinda glad I didnt have the time to read it before the deal) but I really liked the interior and it goes great with white, better than black or blue I would imagine. I like the retro-feel you are talking about and overall it certainly feels more premium than the standard black fabric seats I have tested.
I have been looking at 1.4 rocs for over a month but this 2010 2.0gt tsi came out with a good price and they are not that common here in Sweden (not the last few months anyway, mostly R's if not 1.4), and then there is those potential engine problems with the 1.4, so I went for it. The only thing I'm a bit bummed about is there are quite a lot of stone chips in the lacquer on the bonnet that has been fixed with touch up. But I guess that's inevitable anyway, it is a used car after all... and nobody's perfect.

I have the truffle in mine and I think it looks better than the black. If you are getting a black car it looks 100 times better.

Re: Brown Leather Interior anyone?
I actually like the tan interior on a white roc. Something different to look at compared to the usual black leather or cloth. Iv got black leather but my car was a car that was allready built for the dealer as a stock car so I had no choice. Couldnt wait 3 months for one

Re: Brown Leather Interior anyone?
I have truffle leather in my black rocco, and everyone loves it.
Before I bought the car I was unsure as to the truffle leather, but when I saw it, I thought it looked really smart with the black paint.
I was quite particular about the spec I wanted on my 1.4, but I think in general truffle leather is quite rare, and it makes a change to the black leather, however I'd say it mainly depends on the colour of the car.

I'd say the truffle leather suits the black rocco best

I bought truffle as I thought the black interior made the interior even more mind numbingly boring than it already is...
Truffle at least gives the car a sense of additional quality but it still is one of the most boring interiors out there

Nice! I love mine, no regrets.
I think the interior is kind of like the rest of the Scirocco, simple and clean and not over the top like many other new cars. I mean look at Honda, spaceships.

I agree I love the interior. I had a Golf GTI as a courtesy car last week with the tartan interior. Yuk! The Roc felt soooo much sleeker and more sophisticated.nizzon wrote:Nice! I love mine, no regrets.

A lot of the new cars I see I think look like toy cars/space ships as you say.

Re: Brown Leather Interior anyone?
Does anyone have any recommendations/suggestions on how to get rid of creases in the leather?? Naturally the creases are starting to appear more on my side than the passenger side.
I know some people say it adds to the look of the car an all that, but Im not so sure if its in one area.
The only other thing I have seen is these base covers
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-VW-SC ... 5d3c8716a5" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I know this is a bit drastic but hey.
