i thinking of sorting out my stone chips on my cars
has anyone on here had done any guilds on prices
i know it prob vary but like some ideas

i had one quote and they want over 1000.00 pound to do the work
so i don't think i will be using them

Chipex system gets good feedback. Its based in banbury Oxfordshire. Just down the road from me. Might be worth a try

If the chips are extensive and clustered together e.g. front bonnet lip just go to a proper bodyshop and get the panel sprayed. The "chip" type companies are not cost effective for more than the odd chip.

A full bonnet spray and blending onto the wings should be under £600 even if metallic.

Take some pics mate so we can see. If its only a few chips and they arnt major then chipex would be fine

Ah multiple panel damage the "per panel" fee's chipaway charge would explain the very high costs. TBH I'd suspect many of the marks could be removed by machine polishing, if the chip feels smooth then it's only in the clear coat and can be polished out.

For the quotes that people are getting to repair a few stone chips i wouldnt bother, its only going to happen again. Stone chips are part and parcel of owning a car and you can never get away from them.
