Here's some nice pics of my pride and joy after some bint reversed into the side in her 4x4
Damage is limited to the pasenger door and a smashed window (glass all over my truffle leather)....
Waiting for VW assistance to take it to a safe place as we speak, not a happy bunny!!!!!

People who say 'it's only metal, at least no-one was hurt' are utterly wrong...
I feel your pain brother - unlucky...

Re: Dented Roc!!!
yes - that is very unlucky. I trust the 4x4 owner has acknowledged responsibility, some people are so incredibly careless.
Really sorry for you mate.

Re: Dented Roc!!!
She was going for it reversing off her driveway which was uphill, so if she was looking out of her rear window, she'd have been looking straight over the top of me. She blamed her new glasses....
She admitted responsibility and I got her to sign a note to that effect, not sure if that holds much sway. My insurance were more interested in the witness, so hopefully I'll not lose out financially.
The damage was caused by the spare wheel on the back, which escaped with a very small scratch on it. No bloody justice!!
I have to say that VW assistance have been excellent so far. They arranged to have the the car picked up from my house tonight and are delivering a courtesy car in the morning, can't say much fairer than that.

I'm not holding my breath. It seems that the wheels of insurance claims turn a little slower than I'd like. Had a letter this morning saying that it won't even be inspected for 10 days.... I get the distinct feeling I could be without it for about a month.LCM wrote:Hopefully it will be sorted out soon for you
On the plus side, they've given me a Golf 2.0 TDi GT Sport to tool around in while mine is away. Not driven one of those before and I'm really surprised how quick it is!
