Concept IROC grill or production version - Which is better?
Noticed this topic on another thread and thought I'd pose the question whether people prefer the grill on the IROC concept or the final production Scirocco?
Quick reminder :-

Personally I think the IROC concept grill is way over the top and much prefer the production model. Reminds me of the W12 Concept Golf GTI which looked really cool IMO

I was quite disappointed with the production Roc, was hoping for something more like the Iroc (especially the interior).
Still whoops the ass of anything else in its price range though.

I prefer the grill on the production model.
It has more finesse and more going on for me.
The IROC looks more like a battering ram with that wide allu frame round the grill.
There should be a place for both on the road though as many obviously like it.

The concept looks more Audi, and I wouldn't have wanted a re-badged A3. I wanted a VW and thats what the production car gives me.

to distinguish the cars from stromtroopers. the last thing all those candy-white roccers want is for rebel forces to start shooting at them.Evil Derboy wrote:Why oh why... did VW put those daft black bars along the bottom of each door? That's the question I really want answered.

Get them colour coded, problem solved I like them, breaks the body up a bitEvil Derboy wrote:IROC Concept with colour coded grill surround instead of the aluminium look.
..though having said that, the production front is definitely a grower. I was really dissapointed with the front end of the production model when it came out but now I'm not so sure.
