hi my name is patrick.
its been approximatly 2 hours since i last surfed the web for scirocco news/tips/tricks/tweaks/mods.
*forum response* hi patrick

i still have approximatly 31 days left to wait before she arrives. however, im not expecting it to be delivered on time though as at this point i don't think i could take it.
how on earth do people put their names on two year waiting lists for their aston martin dbs?!?!

it is becoming clear that there is nothing left for me to read about or learn in wait of delivery.
ive decided on all the interior and exterior mods, the remap, the springs and the exhaust.

the only thing i have left to do before sourcing the performance parts is to get some clearance with the company car insurance broker as to what my limits are... to be honest my hopes aren't very high on that one and it shall be a phone call i dont look forward to...

aybody else in the same boat? always having to think about insurance even before wether or not i can actually afford the parts and labour? sucks to be 19 sometimes...

anyways, rant over :D

Hi Pat, welcome to the forum! Lucky boy to be driving a roc at 19! I'm 26 but totalled my last car, so a little worried about insurance next time around. I'm trying to hold off on mods until my renewal to find out the situation with premiums. My advice to you is get GAP insurance!!! Done the wheels and a few other minor mods but suspension and remap and reiger kit (excluding rear bumper) are what i really want. From my experience lots of mods can actually make it more worthwhile to just go for a more powerfull car in the first place :(

Hope you enjoy it when it arrives, you have a long wait ahead....

I know the feeling, as I ordered way back in september last year.. The wait is soon to be over, as I may take delivery this weekend :driver: Do not mean to rub it in :)
I think many of us have way more knowledge about the rocco than most dealers have, and this is kind of frustrating - you know that it's no point in asking..
