Hi Guys,
Last Saturday my auxillary belt decided to fray. It was then pulled into the cam pulleys and jumped the timing by 3 notches on the belt.
Sounded a little like a bag of spanners being microwaved.
Having set the timing back to the way it should be it cant be hand cranked so garage tell me its new engine time.
Having looked on ebay I can see a couple of options but wanted to know how interchangeable the engines are. Mine is a 2009 140bhp.
Is it essential to stick with the same engine code? I realise the 170 & 140 are different from one another. Are the 140bhp engines different from 1 year to next?
