Third party Warranties.

Post by roninonetwo »

Anyone had any dealings with third party warranty insurers (WarrantyDirect and the like)?
Considering it as an option since ive just been whacked with a substantial bill for what is essentially premature wear and tear, and i'd like to cover myself against the same happening again in the future.

Is it worth it? ie; Whats the level of cover like? Any parts not covered etc?
I'm considering selling up and financing brand new just for the sake of a warranty, but I love the car and i'd like to consider other options first!
Cheers in advance.

The best warranty IMO is the VW Extended Warranty provided by Mondial. It's as close to the original manufacturers warranty.as you can get plus it's claimed through the dealers, so claiming is straightforward. Details on VW Website.

Would only use the VW one tbh! As said above all linked straight in to VW Dealers so much easier..
