Very hard to explain on a forum how to fit but it really is a simple job. I'm in essex not sure where you are but if you're local I'm happy to give you a hand!

Hello mate,
I've been looking at your reverse sensor parking write up...very informative btw!
Inspired by your installation I ordered an OEM kit from a breakers near to me. I asked them for everything I needed but I'm pretty sure they haven't.
They sent me the following:-
1KO 919 475K
1K8 971 104E (this is the complete wiring loom including the sensors)
What I don't have is the buzzer, which I'll contact them for as this said to be included. If you don't mind can you please let me know if there's anything else that I need?
FYI I'm not carrying out the full installation to the head unit...I'm happy with just the audible sensors

Did you manage to get this install done? - looking at doing same thing and have all, apart from some plug adapters and a cable to connect the oem sensor loom to the to the control unit.
Like to discuss in bit more detail if possible - did you connect to blue black wire and what side did you connect this on
Cheers pal
Andy

Would it be possible if you could kindly tell me about wiring up everything, bought a rear parking sensor kit and having a bit of trouble understanding how to wire it up before i actually go hands on.Lake6190 wrote:Very hard to explain on a forum how to fit but it really is a simple job. Re: Anyone DIY retrofitted rear parking sensors???
Hello all,
I hope this does not drift away from the initial topic, but I was wondering if anyone can advise where is the stock beeper located at?
As I run a check my reverse sensors is working but it no longer beep after I re-wrap my headliner.
Many thanks in advance!

Mine is located on the O/S (RHD) drivers side (UK) rear C pillar, so if you have removed your headlining it is possible the cable has been knocked.

Re: Anyone DIY retrofitted rear parking sensors???
Hello iforland,
I have tried tearing down a bit of my headliner, all I can find was two connector connecting to the rear center brake light. Mine is also RHD (from Singapore). Is there anything I'm missing out? What's a O/S BTW?

Hi there...sorry "O/S" - Off Side (the side of the car furthest from the curb).
This is the best photo I could find, taken from in the boot (rear of the car to the right)
I've circled the buzzer in red (it is just above the rear seat belt)
