WARMING UP PROBLEMS 2.0 TSI

Post by SIMBASPICE »

Hi all, I am after some advice/help as I have come to the end with main dealers! I have owned the car for the last 6 weeks and it has been to the dealers 4 times. The car is suffering a bad misfire when warming up, once warm it runs fine after about 15 mins. The dealer has replaced all 4 coil packs and all 4 spark plugs, and has said they can do no more and that it's normal! It is costing lots of money and really taking the shine off what is otherwise a superb car. Any advice will really be appreciated. Please help! :(

Not normal. You can probably reject the car if they won't fix it (the law says they have to fix within 6 months of buying)

there is a TPI on the intake manifold,(your dealer should know this) they can perform an adaption and if this is unsuccessful then a new manifold is needed. Its a 3 hour job, and is fairly straight forward.

Hope that helps

Many thanks
