Strange that kit gets mad reviews. It's very popular in the detailing community. Iv used auto finesse tough prep and tough coat and was very happy with it. Or there is the gtechniq sealent range.
Maybe a wax that's more suited to darker colour cars .
Iv seen a few people use this and it looked great. Nice budget wax. http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/poorb ... od_11.html." onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.
Auto finesse spirit or illusion are both fantastic waxes aswell.
Have a look over on detailing world and you will find loads of info on what's the best to choose.

The Sonax range is worth a look.

I am no expert at detailing, very much a newbie in all this. I have an Indium Grey 140TDI, have just used Nattys Blue Wax for the first time, it was easy to apply and use using a damp sponge, the result looks great even after 3 weeks now.whiteDevil_170 wrote: Iv seen a few people use this and it looked great. I too am surprised you're not happy with the results of the Werkstat kit, I've been dying to try it out after hearing so many people say great things about it...Where/how do you feel the results from Werkstat are lacking?azbaz125 wrote:hey ive been using werkstat acrylic but im not really get any results imo and wax's or sealants you could recommend plz thx all
If you're looking for a quality wax you can't really go wrong with Auto Finesse, depending on how much you want to spend I think they do 5/6 waxes ranging from £20 to £100+

Re: Recommended Wax for indium grey??
yeh I have to agree with you. I own illusion thats a show car wax and cost £75 and is fantastic wax. Currently on my roc and I love it. Also own spirit which is £90 and then their flagship wax desire which is £120. Only had chance to use illusion so far though and can highly recommend it.Jay Scott wrote:If you're looking for a quality wax you can't really go wrong with Auto Finesse, depending on how much you want to spend I think they do 5/6 waxes ranging from £20 to £100+azbaz125 wrote:hey ive been using werkstat acrylic but im not really get any results imo and wax's or sealants you could recommend plz thx all
