Have you first checked there is a Bluetooth module under the seat. Even though the RNS510 has a telephone button on the front it doesn't mean the car is equipped with Bluetooth from what I have seen on various Forums.

Mine has the module (black plastic box) under the drivers seat, mine is a right hand drive GT spec.

its probably an rsap bluetooth box in that age of car (the fact the box says nokia on it makes me 99% sure) & the lumia 820 & 900 don't have the rsap profile.
you can swap out the box see http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/forum/ ... etooth+box" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; & http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/roccop ... _Bluetooth" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You can use that model number - it supports both rsap and HFP (HandsFreeProfile). I believe that's the 9WZ model you have pointed to in your link (I didn't open to check, by the model number tallies).

Please note: It should come with an extra GPS antennae for the rsap bit, you need to figure out where you will fit this.

Personally, I would go for the 7P6 models - worth noting that those don't support rSap, just HFP (iPhone, android etc... Basically, you cant lose with a HFP unit, except you want the ability to read texts on the MFD which I think the rSap model does).

By 7P6 - I mean ---> 7P6 035 730 (x); where (x) can be from A - M.

Does your car have a Red MFD or a white one?

Hope this helps

Ok - with red MFD, you will not have control of your BT Module through the steering wheel controls/DIS. You will only be able to control via the touchscreen on the RNS/RCD
