Hi all,
Hoping someone can offer some advice. I've found a few topics about the wheel centre caps being replaced under warranty because of 'white worm' but they're all pretty out of date and relate to cars covered und the original 3 year warranty.
My car is 4 years old now but when I bought it last year I got a one year full vw warranty.
My question is, should I still be covered for this?
Also, anticipating probable dealership response of 'general wear and tear', is there an official line, or a good come back?
Thanks.

Re: Faded centre caps
worth trying under warranty, if done correctly this is a wheel off job
they are around a fiver each from the dealer

Booo.
They'd have been covered under the initial 3 year warranty but aren't covered under extended warranty.
Ah well, worth a shot I guess
