hi. i've had two over the years. the first was a small machine, and very quickly, the elastic on the cloths covering the pads came loose, so it was a pain to use.
the second was twice the size and the cloths seemed a better quality, but i dont use it on the scirocco, having watch a small piece on 5th Gear, which showed a professional detailer doing a detailing job on a car. he immediately ruled out ever using a rotary polisher on a car,, and advised using straight lines rather than what i would have imagined, ie circles.
however, on the programme, Chasing Classic Cars, they do use the rotary polisher to buff up cars.
one thing in common with both polishers i had, were both electric, and both needed the use of an extension lead.
good luck with whatever you decide.

Used a lot so might be a bit OTT for what you need perhaps, I have heard good things about the Clean Your Car ones.

Hi, go to you local motor factors as they will do one that the body shops use and you know you are getting a good bit of kit at a good price! Where are you based?

Thanks Nick
