Dealer diagnostics

Post by Red201 »

My Rocco is still under warranty and has developed a few rattles.

I'm wondering do dealers charge for looking for a fault? For example if they look and can't find one would I get charged?

This seems largely to depend on the relationship you have with the dealer. If its the supplying dealer its less likely they will charge you - but do get this sorted out and agreed before you hand the car over as you may get an unpleasant surprise if not!

Had no problem with a Golf coming up to 3 years old that had rattles around the doors at the supplying dealer.
