Mirror Tilting Upwards

Post by jay.bee »

Hello Folks
My near side mirror has started to tilt upwards when I select reverse!!! It used to tilt downwards...
I tried restoring to factory settings...but no joy.
Hopefully there is an easy fix!
Any ideas?

Best Regards

Have you tried altering while in reverse to the reverse position you want & it should then pop back up when you drive forward

That's right, you can configure however you want it to move when you select reverse. Love that feature.

It's only the passenger mirror.

Tick the box in the settings menu for "reverse mirror auto dip" and then make sure the mirror adjust knob is set to passenger mirror.

On selection of reverse the mirror will move. You can adjust position using joystick. This becomes auto dip position.

When you deselect reverse, mirror will return to previous position.

From now on if you have mirror adjust knob pointing to passenger mirror and select reverse it will automatically move the mirror to stored position.

It's all explained in the manual.
