What mileage to Rocco owners do a year?
So I've had my Rocco for 3 months and I've just hit 5000 miles since I picked it up that's it at exactly 40000 miles as of today, how do other owners mileage fair like how many miles do yous do a year and what's to expect with depreciation value ect.
P.s my. 5000 miles so far isn't buisness just pure pleasure

Re: What mileage to Rocco owners do a year?
I used to do more miles and have always had diesel cars as a result but since changing jobs I now work from home and only do approx 8000 per year which is why I recently bought a petrol Scirocco. I'm hoping to keep my cars mileage low and sell it on in a couple of years, probably for another Scirocco, and not lose that much money compared to what I paid for it.

Re: What mileage to Rocco owners do a year?
I mostly cycle to work so only do about 3000 a year tops. Makes you really appreciate driving when I do actually drive it

A can't see why you'd pay so much for a car and only drive it for 3000 miles a year yous must be loaded haha I'm the same as you viper boy I also enjoy the looks of other drivers my car gets and maybe the fact I still look 15 )

Just past 2nd year of ownership and passing 39k and due a service. I did a lot more mileage in the first year but its dropped to about 1.5-2k a month now, also seems to have "broken in" as I'm pushing 700 miles a tank.

1800/year over the past three years.
It's why it's a Scirocco and not a Cayman R.

I would have thought with such a low annual mileage, a Cayman would be perfect. That's what I would have if I didn't do around 25k per yearParalla wrote:1800/year over the past three years.

I work 6 weeks in Africa then have 2 weeks off, usually in London (where the Roc is) but sometimes elsewhere for holidays.motorman wrote:And I thought my mileage was low @7k over three years since new.Paralla wrote:1800/year over the past three years.

I also ride a Vespa when I'm in London because its the best way to get around unless it's raining or I need to cary lots of stuff.
So my car is just for rainy days or trips to Sainsburys. A Cayman R costs a lot more in insurance and depreciation than a TDI Scirocco, no matter how much or how little I drive.

I have only done just under 16k miles in over 4 years, but I tend to cycle to work so Roc only gets used at the weekends.

Re: What mileage to Rocco owners do a year?
I've got my rocco for 16 months and drove 35000km and I love every km of them!!!
Re: What mileage to Rocco owners do a year?
Had mine for 3 1/2 years and had done 29Kish (miles) when traded in. So almost average mileage I guess.
The Mini should be doing sod all miles, but our lovely facilities department haven't moved us back to the office that's about 2 miles away from home yet. Should have been in March, hence changing the car. So I've gone from DSG TDI Roc to a manual petrol Mini Cooper S And liking it quite a lot.

Using tbat logic a Polo would cost less, cheaper to insure and be lower in depreciation.Paralla wrote:I work 6 weeks in Africa then have 2 weeks off, usually in London (where the Roc is) but sometimes elsewhere for holidays.motorman wrote:And I thought my mileage was low @7k over three years since new.Paralla wrote:1800/year over the past three years.
