Armrest

Bit of a silly question i know, but i never noticed when looking at the car before i ordered one, does the armrest slide out from the standard position, as i noticed it did on a couple of other vw's

It also 'ratchets' up so you can have it a bit higher....you lift it right up to reset it back down again.
