Car is due to land in the UK on Friday, no idea on build date but guessing the last couple of weeks.

+1 for the wait in a killer. I feel like an 8 year old waiting for his xBox.

Scirocco is on board the EMDEN passing Brest, France 29.01.12 @ 04:00, due in the Port of Emden 29.01.13 @ 21:00. Sets sail for Sheerness on 30.01.13 @ 22:00, arriving Sheerness 31.01.13 @ 23:00.

Just the sailing route as the spot hire ships direct to the UK have reduced considerably due to low UK orders so the larger ships are covering. Scirocco won't be unloaded at Emden, stays aboard and dropped off at Sheerness.

Well you we're spot on RW1 EMDEN left Sheerness @ 13:06 yesterday. So I'm sure my Roc is sitting there on the dockside awaiting transport.

dealer told me my build week is w/c 6th may, does that mean they start to build it then, and how long after this build date should i expect to take delivery???

its usually about 3 weeks after build that it will be at the dealers for you to take home but this is subject to what boats are sailing from portugal, it might be quicker it might take a little longer

You should have one by now Roccopanda, not all dealers will tell you the progress of your order so not hearing anything doesn't mean it's not been accepted, if you want regular updates on your order status make sure to mention it to the dealer

Build week finally allocated - 30/9. Guessing mid-end October she should be landing then. How exciting :D

Mine's just been advised as w/c 29/09 guess that's the same week just different way of referring to it. Ordered 12/08 so seems likely. Dealer say's hopefully last week in October maybe 1st week in November.

Got a big box of bits for it already, VCDS, alloys, black VW badges. Looking forward to it like a big kid.......

Same, mine is growing. Going to order VCDS in the next week, and chrome tailpipes should be coming soon. Where abouts are you based?

Ordered my Candy White 1.4 TSI 160 mid July and occording to the My Volkswagen order tracker it was built this week (w/c 22/9) and is now in shipping. The tracker was a bit odd because mid September I had a confirmed build of w/c 22/9 and I have checked progress on build all week. It has never shown as 'in build stage' but today it appears as built and in shipping. Hopefully get in in a couple of weeks.

Confirmed my order for a Night Blue 140 TDI GT Friday (11th Oct). Estimated build week is week 3 2014. awaiting confirmation via vw.com

Just checked the VW site and now have a confirmed build week of 10/11

ordered mine 2nd week of August. Dealer took delivery yesterday. Getting delivered here on 31st October! not long now! why over a week from dealer to me though?!?!?! ahhhhh!!! suspense!!!!
