MFD/Highline computer issues

Post by Jonny_Smith »

Hi Guys

Had my rocco just over a week now and i'm loving it.

However i do have a few issues with the MFD:

- Does the digital mileage figure only display KM/PH or is this on the wrong setting? I find this quite annoying tbh!
- My coming home function is not working, but my leaving home function is. Any ideas? Theyre both switched on and timed at 20secs.

Cheers
Jonny

You going to need to dip into the diagnostics for both of these, ie use of VCDS diagnostic software.

Speed.... Have a read here.
You can't have mph on the UK mph analogue dial unit by just switching the MFD via the stalk.

The most likely cause for the Coming Home is the controller option is switched off. You need to look at the Central Electronics Controller 09 to check the option is selected. It has been known for the setting to be lost in the controller. In Controller 09, Byte 17, Bit 6 needs to be set.

Hi, i too was confused as to why the coming home lights do not just come on automatically when you remove the ignition key and open the door :? But i did read somewhere i think its in the owners manual, that the way to activate it is when you have removed the ignition key you pull the indicator stalk toward you as if flashing your headlights and this then lights the headlights for the time selected on the mfd. done

Brilliant, thanks guys!! So I guess next step is finding someone in the north east/Newcastle with VCDS!
Whilst I'm on could I change the drl's to be the sidelights (ones next to indicators) I have the xenons and the drl's are so yellow it's disappointing!
