New Model
Afternoon All,
Been reading lots of different articles and topics on this Forum and others and there was talk as of week 22 there would be different changes to the display from red to White like the Passat CC, and also there would be more options like keyless entry, adaptive cruise control etc.. and more standards such as the aluminium pedals and sill, was wondering if any one could confirm this or is it rubbish.
Would like to know as thinking of buying the FISCON bluetooth kit for the car and there are 2 options depending on the computer display.
So all confused at the moment

Re: New Model
Argh! - If this is true, I'm gutted I just ordered today!! These rumours could well make sense, since any factory orders placed now will not be available for 18-22 weeks and yet there are plenty of cars lying around in stock!
Re: New Model
Supposedly the VW dealers are informed of the changes for the new model year around week 17, that's from 20th April, we're only guessing til thenDan Fitz wrote:was wondering if any one could confirm this or is it rubbish.
Re: New Model
I got the rumour confirmed from my dealer.. so i guess its pretty sure that theirs a new model on the way

That's a bit of a downer for the early adopters.

Re: New Model
Yeh that is quite annoying if its true. Owell, won't change how it drives or looks I guess.
Re: New Model
Hi
What dealer informed you of this change?
I`ve rang vw customer services & they no nothing about any changes to the sciroccoin the near future. But that doesnt mean a great deal knowing VW.

Re: New Model
Just posted this on a different thread, and I have a feeling this may be backing up the fact that there is a new model.

Re: New Model
Judging by the new Golf prices I think they'll not only add a bit more kit but also jack the prices up
Rising Blue,DSG,Vienna Leather,Winter Pack,Pano roof,Folding mirrors,Dynaudio/DAB,Park Sensors,Cruise, Flat tyre indicator,Prem Mats+Sills,Metal Pedals,Gt Badge,Fiscon,Covered cup holder/rear cup holders.Now gone Piano Black with new Climate Control

Re: New Model
I really wouldnt worry about differences in trim and equipment for those of us that have already got the 'roc. It was always going to happen that they make year on year changes. You can't control whats going to happen. Just go and enjoy it!!!!!!!!

Re: New Model
I agree with bungle - these things will always happen if I'd waited for a "revision", then I'd say should have waited for the next one etc etc I end up waiting and waiting - no regrets here!

Yeah, its a bit like deciding when to buy a new computer - there's always a newer model just over the horizon.rehmondo wrote:I agree with bungle - these things will always happen if I'd waited for a "revision", then I'd say should have waited for the next one etc etc I end up waiting and waiting - no regrets here!
Personally I wouldn't thank you for ally pedals - lethal when wet

Though I guess there will be other additions as well I won't lose any sleep over not having anything on that list.
The new steering wheel and dash don't really do it for me.
Would have been nice to have the Mk VI climatronic though.

Re: New Model
Actually come to think of it a concealed aerial would have seen me opt for DAB.

Re: New Model
I've been given build week 22 for my Scirocco - so if the rumours are true it could go either way.
I'm not that bothered that much about a few minor changes ...... I JUST WANT TO GET BEHIND THE WHEEL !!
