Windows and Sunroof open with the remote!

Post by robrob »

So am I the only one who has been driving the car for 5 months now and only just discovered this?
I knew they closed with the remote if you pressed it down for a few seconds longer (which is fairly standard in most cars nowadays) but didn't realized you could open them as well!

Serves me right for not reading the manual properly I guess, but I never read the manual other then very specific things I need to know about...

I tried this the first day I got it, but have never used it since - maybe in the summer when the car is parked up and I'm walking towards it I can see myself unlocking it and dropping the windows etc then.

I looked for this in the manual but got bored by the instructions on turning the lights on and off :)

Thanks for the tip!

Btw, are you satisfied with the glass sunroof, concerning road noise when it's even closed?
I have heard some comments about slightly annoying road noise with it.
Also Top Gear refers as a tip to avoid getting a rocco with a sunroof.
I am thinking seriously to get it since (even if it doesn't slides but opens up) it
gives an extra light and feel of space in the cabin, but these comments
are confusing me.

Had my Roc with roof for 3 weeks now and so glad I went for (and waited for!) it. Today for example it's blowing a gale and my car was as quiet as could be - no wind noise to speak of from anywhere let alone the roof . And yes the extra light and feeling of space it provides is well worth it. As for the Top Gear comment of echo chamber - total Bs.
Rising Blue,DSG,Vienna Leather,Winter Pack,Pano roof,Folding mirrors,Dynaudio/DAB,Park Sensors,Cruise, Flat tyre indicator,Prem Mats+Sills,Metal Pedals,Gt Badge,Fiscon,Covered cup holder/rear cup holders.Now gone Piano Black with new Climate Control

Nonsense I can assure you, as already been determined in another thread.
No more road noise then without the roof.
Well worth it even though it doesn’t slide open.
