Hey guys,
First post here, sorry it had to be this one. I bought a scirocco yesterday, 2 hours later, we hit a sheep on a country road. The sheep is fine etc and with the farmer now, but the cars damage is as follows:
Headlight pushed back in the car, the casing dented, brackets holding it broken. Front bumper is cracked and the radiator grill is cracked.
The damage will cost about £700 or so, I'm getting genuine new parts, front new bumper, new headlamp, new radiator grill, new brackets. My question is, will the car look new again once all this has been fixed? I was told it would as it's just plastic stuff and nothing major on the inside of the engine etc. But I'm still dubious.
Assuming I replace all these parts with brand new genuine parts, will the damaged side look exactly like the other side or is it never able to be the same again (i.e have marks/scuffs/scratches, dents/tilted/mispositioned).
Any feedback is MUCH appreciated

Re: CRASHED My New Roc :(
I can't see there being a problem once the parts are replaced. An unfortunate start to Scirocco ownership, but try and put it behind you and enjoy the car.
On the plus side no-one was hurt and you've not mentioned damage to the bonnet or wings so it could have been a whole lot worse.

Re: CRASHED My New Roc :(
Feel your pain as my roc was bumped by an old Merc in a car park the other day. Need new front wing at a cost of £850. Ouch. £700 for your damage dosent seem too bad?
Re: CRASHED My New Roc :(
What if the metal parts holding the headlamp were dented? Can this be repaired back to normal?
Re: CRASHED My New Roc :(
Well mine is mainly plastic parts, bumper, headlamp, some plastic bits here and there etc. But I'm sorry to hear that happened to you!r.gbrown wrote:Feel your pain as my roc was bumped by an old Merc in a car park the other day. Asking as you find a good body shop it will be good as new mate.
Depending how bad the front bumper is, they might be able to repair it!
Hope you get it sorted soon!

Someone near me must've done some major damage to their car yesterday, as lying across the Coast road (A1058) at Billy Mill roundabout was a large fox in 2 pieces when I went to work at 7am.
