Right after trying to swap the cruise out on a 2010 rocco we hit a brick wall, I took the cowling off and steering wheel and then you can see why its all different there is no steering controller!! or so it seems and the stalks are all one unit, the steering controller is actually the slip ring.
If you want to fit cruise to a 2010 rocco you need these parts
Stalks - 5K0 953 502C £75
controller - 5K0 953 569H £150
Then you just need to code the ECU and steering controller which is another thing
Ross Tech looks like they have not had chance to re-structure the new steering controllers cos its all in German.

Are you talking about MY 2010 Wk45 onwards Scirocco's when a few updates took place which appears to also affect the dealer fitting the retro cruise control kit?

Looks like it mate I'm not sure of the build date but I believe the owner only picked it up last week.
Its totally different to the normal steering controller under the column and the seperate stalk, the stalks both wiper and turn signal are all one unit and the steering control goes over the top of these and is screwed in with 3 t15 screws.
Also the coding is all in German with no long coding or coding helper.

Re: 2010 rocco + retro fitting cruise control
Looks like it makes it quite an expensive way to do then until VW modifies the retro kit for Wk45/09 onwards built Sciroccos.
Cruise Kit £162.50 + Modules £225 = £387.50
against ordering on a new Scirocco as a factory option for £230.
Unlike Uwe not to have his act together.
Cheers Darren

Just hoping Ross-Tech can give me a low down on the new coding? need to code this rocco for voice control and cruise.

This thread I made might be of interest. I've been waiting for the retrofit kit ever since I got my Roc.
