Now I had Xenons on my Mk5 GTI and knew how to adjust those (lever on side flick up/down for LHD/RHD)
Is this still the same on Rocco Xenons???
Looks like a tighter fit getting hands into the housing to adjust them if so. Hmm. Also i can't see the little levers anymore as they've got this shiny honeycomb surround there instead! Grrrr.
So has anyone adjusted them on the Roc?
cheers
Lee
EDIT: Just spoke to dealer...reckons i need to go in and let them do it at £60 a pop! then to change them back round another £60! Hmmm. I don't think so! Don't advise DIY on it either even tho it was simple enough on the GTI. I'm gonna open up the back of it and have a look and feel

To quote the small print on page 19 of the "My Scirocco Accessories" brochure ......
"Image for illustration purposes only. Please note: this set includes decals only"
One of the issues with these is the instructions and precise positioning is not clear....
Part No. 1K8 998 981A £17.50 inc VAT @ 17.5%.

There is different part numbers fo left and right hand drive light units. So i guess it's not just as simple as using the lever to adjust like some lights.

Two years ago I fitted a pair onto my Saab 93. After running on dipped headlights for a while one light went out & the corresponding light came on the dash. I removed them then the light came back on & has remained so. It would appear that it was over heated. Normal lights not zenons.

The protectors are a good shout though.
There is on some VW's what is called a "tourist option" switch located in Xenon Headlight Control Module 55, Adaptive channel 10. Set it to 1 with VCDS and it should flick over. Normal set to 0. Whether the Scirocco's module will have the coding . Don't have Xenons to check.
No protectors, the accessories brochure is misleading in showing what look like protectors, as above the small print says "decals only". They would be useful if they did.
