Dealer Warranty Work

Post by sideshow bob »

Hi everyone,
Just collected my Roc from the dealers.
It had to have the drivers seat cover replaced due to the stitching becoming frayed, although to be honest, it may have been caused by some jeans I have with zips at the back.
But never the less VW said it should not have frayed after just 9 months and 12K on the clock, so duly sorted out a warranty repair.

Anyway, it was all done vey nicley, the engineer retrieved a couple of quid in loose change that had got lost in the undergrowth, and they gave me a bottle of champagne as an appology for having to do warrenty work on the car.

Top marks to Beadles at Dartford.

PS - they have a Black R with DSG thats just been delivered and it's up for grabs. If only mine wasn't a company car! Grrr.

It's good to have a positive comment about a dealer for a change!
