Re: Does the shark fin contain a GPS?

Is it easy to remove? I'd like to put vinyl on the roof and it would be easier with it temporarily off the car

Re: New cruise control for 2011 models ?

A little off-topic but i think the only one that has got the cruise right is Mercedes.

Re: RNS315 & Handsfree phone prepartion

I've ordered both. I think the bluetooth on the RNS is for audio playback? If you do not spec the bluetooth I'm guessing that you will not get the microphone and console that are separate from the RNS...(?)

Re: Finally ordered my new car!

I also went for the most economical engine for the scirocco and I get whichers way of thinking. Most of the people on this foorum seem to favor power over consumption. Both are equally good arguments for choosing an engine. My motorcycle uses 9l/100km (I don't know what that is in MPG but is is a lo...

Passing the dealer this afternoon saw a transporter pulling up with a storm trooper and viper on board. Lucky sods.
I ordered mine one month after you did and my confirmed build week is 12. There is something odd with UK orders.

Ordered mine the 3rd of february. Build date is confirmed week 12 and the dealer said that after week 16 would be the delivery. I think I'm going to pick it up the 29th of april.

Re: 8GB SDHC card = monumentally slow

You need the Media-In for that. It's an 250€ optional extra here.
My car is ordered with RNS315 that should be faster to operate and hopefully it handles SD:s also faster.
