Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
I removed the obd2 connector under the dash and converted it into a d-sub connection. Made an adapter from d-sub to obd2 for myself to use vcds. Nice and cheap anti theft protection. http://s27.postimg.org/r6vfo7983/IMG_6596.jpg Thats actually a really clever idea! only problem would be for service...

you could always splice that into the connector that joins to the MDI?
you wouldn't need to run a booster as the volt drop would be minimal.
Other than that, no clue mate - besides trying each pin directly to see if one of them acts as an input?

Very minor difference
It was a recommended upgrade for me though, that and better spark plugs
Pointless if you don't tune though

Re: Second hand sps switch
On the 2.0tsi the revo sps switch only has 4 settings, stock, 93 octane, 99 octane and 100 octane. The 4 maps are already loaded onto the ECU once mapped, the SPS switch just selects the pre installed map. If you buy a used sps, you just need to down load the settings from the revo website and inst...

Re: Second hand sps switch
The SPS just contains a file that adjusts boost, timing and fuel perameters - which you could argue is a 'map'

Re: Second hand sps switch
its not maps that are installed on the device i have an SPS switch and it just contains different boost and timing files, these are just .txt files i think (from memory), and you can change them using this: http://www.revotechnik.com/useruploads/images/pagecontent/SelectPlus%201030Lite.zip" onc...

Looks good bro, next you need a Polar FIS for a digital boost gauge
If you don't get along with the extensions, have a look at the S2TPP ones, these are direct replacements.
