Re: Anyone DIY retrofitted rear parking sensors???

I had a mate who has his own VAG specialist garage colour code and fit a set of steelmate sensors, think all in cost around £150 from memory. Been on 6 months no probs. Can take a photo of the bumper if want to see where to fit. They dont sit as flush as oem but still look very neat (dont stick out ...

Re: Saris Bones Bike Rack

Ever feel like your talking to yourself Twads? Yes Twads often :D Saris Bones 3 far better fit, more sturdy very little flex and if put bike in middle carrier it sits miles away from the bodywork. Also it has a strap to hold the downtube in place to stop bike swaying which is a nice touch. No issues...

Re: how much mpg you get?

Changed on Friday from a A6 3.0 tdi quattro le mans which was remapped to 295bhp got around 31mpg, to roc 2.0tdi 140bhp. Mix of motorway 80 85mph, few short trips 45.86 mpg will improve but happy with that although maybe a bit low. To be fair although roc only half the bhp it doesnt seem totally gut...

Re: Saris Bones Bike Rack

Just quickly tried a Saris Solo on back of the sky rocket and not HP. Can strap peddle up to stop it turning but the brake disk on the front wheel is very cose to the bodywork bit of movement and likely to scratch the paint  Anyone else got a solo and have you mounted it in a different positi...

Re: Baby car seats

Time for an 5dr Golf R for you. I wish. Can't afford one of them, :grumpy: however I do keep coming back to the 2.0tsi Jetter with a DSG. Same engine and gearbox, just in a bigger car with a more accessable boot. And its cheaper than both the 'Roc and GTI with just as much power. :eyepop: :f...
