Air Filter

I have a 1.4tsi 160.Can anyone give a difinative answer as to whether fitting a K & N performance panel air filter (not over oiled)would adversely affect the maf sensor.I think i also read somewhere this sensor is not fitted to this engine? Any information would be appreciated.

Re: Seat covers?

Dont know how old MANNO 's car is.but itook mine in for its first service on the 1/3 and pointed out bolster is getting fluffy and going a bit lighter grey (probably due to buckle on my jacket). As car only ayear old and done 7000 miles, they are going to recover cloth trim on bolster under warranty ....

I have just noticed a small nail in the centre of the tread in a pirelli self sealing tyre. There is no pressure loss,so is it safe to leave it or if i pull it out will tyre still seal itself.Any advice please.

Re: my first problem

You were right RW1,same fault this morning(MISFIRE AND LIGHT FLASHINH).Volkswagen Assistance sent RAC who changed coil on different cylinder and if now drives normally. If happens again they will recover it and take it to the garage and arrange alternative vehicle.Watch this space!
