i had the same problem on my R 2 years ago ,i went to vw and they test drove the car with me . Apperently Passat has the same problem ,and its the door handles(the one u can rest ur hand on so go to were you bougtht the car and tell its a known issue and they replace the handles or fix it

y they thought so first and switched that out . Thoe now it happend again so a new stereo will be fit in .shipped from germany hq

y that never happend it appeared to be something with the ignition so they switched that part out problem is now solved

As the topic says am having a wierd problem with my stereo or atleast it would seem It all began with the car alarm when the car was new. The alarm could go off just by a windbreese or someone Walking by. After the alarm have gone on for awhile the car would lock it self again and put on the stereo....

Compared to Gti R or Gti ..i would say scirocco still has the Smoother and racing like driving .
