I ordered my 170 GT Tdi on the 24th Aug 2010, and have had a Hire car since December..... they just swapped it out for a new Passat

I got a golf 1.6 tdi auto bluemotion before xmas, well chuffed much more practicle than the passat i was told i would get. Returns 60+ mpg on a long run. Ordered my Scirocco in Aug and was told today i might not get it much before June if im lucky, shouldnt complain too much 6 months of free motoring!

Europcar have called, hire car on its way this afternoon :-) after snow delayed things on friday.....

I got an email from the dealer yesterday asking for a hire car to be arranged for delivery tomorrow, no contact from the dealer today will keep you all posted in the morning.

Just had it verbal confirmation that i will now get a hire car on Friday as promised, ill be very interested to see how this develops
