I dont know what why round it is but i recall as i was getting mine he emphasised not to do it...am sure he said a deisel will still run if petrol is pumped without to greater fuss (although not ideal) but a petrol will not run and has significant problems if you try?

Update No 3. :grumpy: No contact at all today disprite assurance... Called dealer at 6pm and was told the following... VW :D : 'the part we have sent for has been installed and has apparantly had no effect, the technician believes this new part may also be faulty. Therefore a new part has been order...

Problem solved... part replaced 6 day turn around.

Yep... 6 hours old... Multi function steering wheel completely unresponsive, cruise control unresponsive, horn unresponsive...gutted cant play with the VIS now Probably not a "breakdown" though is it :P i did consider this before posting... but what swayed it is the fact the horn wont wor...

I have experienced this I picked my 60 plate up yesterday and noticed the delay on leaving the forecourt... roughly 6 hrs later my horn was caput as was my MF steering wheel...are they connected through the same interface unit as mine is being replace as i type...with Tech at VW stating there not 10...
